That was like the highlight of my day yesterday. I tried a couple of them and had no problems. So at least I can shut the PM up on that one. When we switched to the SSM that was the first complaint. I can't thank you enough!
Instead of using seperate fields for your Titleblock, try using a Multi-line Attribute. When using the multi-line attribute you can specify how wide you want your text to go before it skips down to the next line. You can still put your fields into a Multiline attribute. Multi-line attributes are only in autocad 2008 and newer.
The problem with that is that there's no control over where the break happens. So if your three line sheet title requires 1 short line, 1 long line, and the third line to be of a different length, you're hosed.
ex:
PLAN
NORTH LONGSHOREMANS ROAD
STA: 1024+54.00 TO STA: 1056+22.47
it won't break the way I need it to.
I know this is an old, old, old thread, but here is a workaround:
Use non breaking spaces (Alt+0160) where you want a space between works, and use a space where you want a line break. The test box can have aero width.
("_" indicates a non break space.)
PLAN NORTH_LONGSHOREMANS_ROAD STA:_1024+54.00_TO_STA: 1056+22.47
