As a general rule when comparing Acad and Revit, Revit does everything Acad does and much, much more. Most of the time the issue is how to find the equivalent feature in Revit that you loved so much in Acad. This post is an example of that. However, there will be times when Revit does disappoint Acad users, but not very often.
BTW: If you are using a full 3D Revit topographical site, you may want to convert it to a link. Revit site plans are a notoriously heavy load. If you are carrying so much site that you can chop some of it off, you might want to delete some of the unneeded data permanently.
