Hi there,
I’m very new to ‘BIM-world’ and I’m trying to understand its terminologies.
What is the difference between Electrical Fixtures and Electrical Equipment?
Aside from the AutoDesk Wiki is there any instructional material we can access?

With my limited knowledge of electrical design, Revit defines Electrical Fixtures as light switches, GPOs, actual light fittings like fluros, pendant lights, down lights, exit signs, LCD panels, monitors etc. (powered units, isolation)
Electrical Equipment is defined as switchboards, cupboards/cabinets (power supply)
you are partially correct
be careful with lighting and lighting controls
light fixtures are all the physical fixtures
lighting devices is everything that controls fixtures (occ sensors, switches etc.)
equipment would be like power panels MCC's
electrical fixtures are more receptacles mostly
some what old thread but just went though explaining this to someone
