Default Alignment Stationing is in inches

    Hello,
I am having a problem with a street centerline alignment which is not displaying the station labels in the way I would like. I have adjusted the major and minor station labels to display at every 100' and 25' respectively, and civil3d displays this correctly, but the station labels read in inches instead of feet. ex: the first major label reads 12+00 (1200 inches). Where do I need to divide something by 12 to make these values read correctly? I just finished a plan in which I did not have this problem, and copied all the alignment settings to this drawing in an attempt to fix it and it did not help.

Im running Civil 3D 2013, drawing units are engineering (0'-0.000") inches. I know this is not typical for civil work, but most of our standard details which cover over 150 years of sewer and water systems are in inches, and it is much easier for me to enter values in this way.

Thanks, and my apologies if this was covered somewhere else and my search missed it.

military wisdom has long held that the easy way is always mined. If you are doing civil, then consistency with the rest of the Us would strongly be in favor of decimal feet, not the inches variant used by mechanical engineers.

Heck, the errors that would accumulate working in a state plane system boggle my mind.

When I run into unit issues with feet versus inches, I xref the source drawing and scale it by a factor of 12. I like leaving my drawings unitless.

Have you tried the command: editdrawingsettings to see if the drawing is set to inches? That has happened to me
