    Default Displaced Element

I'm wanting to use the displaced element function in Revit 2014 with some elements that I have created an assembly out of. It appears that the displaced element will not work when the elements are assembled. I created tilt-up panel shop drawings from the elements grouped as an assembly. Now I want to do a displaced view of the elements to better show the complexity of the connections but it appears that I can't when the elements are assembled.

Any thoughts on how to do this without exploding the assembly. When I do explode the assembly I can use the displaced element function just not when they are assembled.

Can you try and tab-select the element inside of the Assembly and then click the Displace Elements button?
