Angry Interior Lighting - lights stay dark when rendered

I know there's been a ton of threads about this and I read probably all of them and still don't get it right.

I'm using Revit 2013 - and the recessed can lights that come with revit. When rendered they always stay dark.

    1. I changed the wattage 100...but it didn't do the job.

    2. Self-Illumination is clicked on - also doesn't do it

    3. I even painted the inside of the can - nope

    4. There is no glass inside the recessed can...

What am I doing wrong???I'm at my wits end...I'm sure it's something minor...any help as always highly appreciated.

I attached a few screen shots of my results...and an example of what I'm trying to achieve...
