    Default Duct Terminal Arrow

Is there a way the Arch model that has my MEP model linked into it, turn off the Duct Flow directional arrows? When editing the Air Terminal family and then the Duct Terminal Arrow, I see it is comprised of Detail Item (line) and filled region (triangle) ty

    Hi gvluisi,

Check the detail item name of the arrows from the MEP model, and from the linked MEP model in your Archl model you can edit the display setting by going the "model categories", "detail items", and turn that detail item off. Make sure the detail item/lines used by the arrows are not used as line symbols for the air terminal or else it will also be turned off.

thanks, but the flow arrow is made up of two elements, linework and a filled region. I can turn off the line work but the filled region won't turn off

you still have other option, assign both linework and filled region to a certain detail levels in family editor. For example in visibility settings, assign both objects not to be shown in "Coarse" or "Medium" detail levels then reload it to the project. And in your project's view template, set your Air Terminal to either of these levels I have mentioned, both linework and filled region should be off this time.

Or you could just go in to the MEP model, select all the air terminals and uncheck the flow arrows box (assuming they have a visibility parameter).

Thanks, but I want the arrows to show in my MEP model, it's the Arch model that has my MEP model linked into it, that I want the arrows to not show.

i had to create a subcategory within the air terminal families "Arrow" and put them on it, so i could turn them off in my electrical sheets, regardless of how mechanical had them showing.
