A rather trivial question *** it relates to me but a rather big "PLEASE HELP!" for my co-workers...
My electrical department has recently decided that, to aid our staff in reducing "checking" errors common with manual transfering data between documents, "we" (um, me) are implementing MEP 2012 from scratch. For the record, I am literally training myself on MEP from textbooks, help files, forums and various tutorials with no company-based support. My layouts are strictly 2D and non-Project Manager based.
That being said, my co-workers are still using AutoCAD 2011 (out-of-the-box version) in XREF in my (um, "our") MEP layouts in to the other non-MEP sheet files and, more to point of the question, the other non-MEP XREF files for their drafting work.
Aaaanywaay.... The question is this:
Is there anyway to disable the MEP "Solutiontips" icons when MEP files are XREF'd into non-MEP files cad file? I've tried disabling the icons, saving and so forth, and also changing the icon size, but nothing seems to help.
So... Has ANYBODY come across this, and, hopefully, been able fix it?
Thanks in advance!
