I was wondering wether any of you had this problem before:
We often use a cad plan (dwg) as a background for a site plan or ground floor plan. As the background is now and again updated we insert the dwgs in a manner that when exporting the whole project to dwg, the 0,0,0 is in the correct place according to the quantity surveyors original file. This takes a bit time to set up in the first place.
Now I had several times the problem that I had set up the dwg background according to the correct north, origines, etc, the next day I open up the revit file and my dwg background file has changed placed - let's say turned 30° this way or the other. Recharging the linked files solved the problem until the moment I closed the file ....
In one particular case the problem dissappeared all by itself one day, I mean I reopen the file and everything's correct.
I couldn't see a reason why it wouldn"t stay in place or why it would in one exemple. Certainly I cleaned and purged all the dwg files beforehand.
Anyone got an idea ?
Thanks for your help
