Default Spot Slopes in Linked Models

I'm working in a linked revit project and am creating the sheets and annotating in the Main Model (where all the base files are linked).

Unfortunately I am unable to annotate the slopes on my roof plan using the Spot Slope function. The curious thing is that Spot Elevation and Spot Coordinate will annotate in the linked file.

Why is that or better yet how can I get this to work?

    Regards
    Dave

I am experiencing the same thing. We have linked building models into a host model for annotation (large project). I cannot get the spot slopes to tag the linked roofs. Spot elevations work, but not slopes. I cannot find a setting anywhere to allow these tags to reference linked models. Its not VV. I would rather avoid using linked views to get roof slope annotations to show up. Is this a glitch or a setting that I am missing? Please advise.

I just placed a spot slope on a detail line in the roof plan and then copied it to the roof plane. It worked!
