When detailing mechanical rooms, I typically produce upper and lower elevation plan drawings. The view range for my low level runs from 0 to 1200mm (4'), and then my upper level drawing displays from 1200 (4') to level above. I then apply an underlay of the current level to my upper elevation so as to lightly show the low level equipment below. These drawings are typically Fine detail.
The drawback is that the current level underlay makes the pipe and duct elbows become light, just like the low level equipment.
Is there any way for my upper level pipe/duct elbows to to look right?
