    Default AEC Dimensions

    Screen shot.jpgHi All
Can any one help with this.
I am trying to use the AEC RO dimension tool.
I have set up an exterior stud wall with siding on the out side and GWB on the inside, and set the dimensions to the out side and inside of the stud wall in the wall style components dialogue box and the stud to structural with the siding and GWB to none structural.
When I use the AEC RO dimensions the wall length is measured to the out side of the siding and not the stud wall,

When I use the interior AEC dimension tool it works just fine and dimensions the rooms from the stud wall component,

Any help here will be greatly appreciated

    Default Re: AEC Dimensions

    Hi All
I have been trying to get to the bottom of this some more and I have discovered that not only does the AEC RO tool dimension to the wall linings it also dimensions to any window or door frame that protrudes past the edge of the wall.
    Can any one help?

There must be a box some where to tick to ensure that the tool only dimensions structural components.
