Default Default setting for mitered wall joins

Since I use this setting 95% of the time. Or please at least give me the option to use as MY default.

I would agree on this one. If I remember right they used to automatically miter way back in one of there early releases. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I can possibly understand the reasoning for the factory not having this as default (scheduling quants etc - its not the way walls are built) BUT we always go for mitred wall corners when we build a model to be exported and run through VIZ etc. as it makes for a cleaner corner for material mapping etc.

    Phil,

You're absolutely right about the factory's thinking (as confirmed by LRiaz?? on a prior thread). Nevertheless, I find that for drafting & visualization purposes, the mitered wall join gives superior results most of the time. And as you say, for use with VIZ, miter works best. So, "pure" as the current way is, from a construction standpoint, it's not neccessarily the right way to "draw" it.
