    Default Excel to AutoCAD

    Hi All,

Apology if I am repeating, I couldnt find a solution after searching for some time.

I want to offset a line in Autocad by 4m by using Excel. So by pressing a button in Excel, it has to read all lines in cad and draw new lines which are 4m offsets.

    This 4m will be changing.

Please guide me, I am basic excel user, but can VB catch coding.

    Hi

you could try to make a selectionset with filter and than ask a begin point and an end point. Try to google "selection sets vba" and "Utility.GetPoint".

    Kind regards

    Wouter
