    Default Gaming Keyboard for AutoCAD?

Has anyone tried using a gaming keyboard for AutoCAD? I need a new keyboard and was thinking I could use the hot/macro keys in AutoCAD or other Autodesk software.

I saw this keyboard at BestBuy the other day. It an SteelSeries Apex gaming keyboard.

I've been using Logitech's gaming devices, specifically the G700 mouse, G510 keyboard, and G13 to boot, for years... Just accepted a new, better paying position, and splurged on a new G602 mouse (I think the new G700 is pretty ******), and G510S backlit keyboard... BestBuy had them both on sale; $160+/- for the pair.

I still cannot believe the battery life of the new mouse.

I ended up buying a Logitech G510s gaming keyboard for $80 at Best Buy. I had to exchange the first one due to a few bad keys but all is well now.

I wrote a review about it on my blog.

Had I happened across this thread sooner I would have recommended one of these.
    Art Lebedev Popularis and Maximus.

    They are costly though.

I've been using a Corsair K70 for a few months now.
I'm not using any custom keys or anything. It was delivered with one of our new machines and I just started using it.
The keys are mechanical and very loud, so I told the vendor to not bring any more of them in here or it would sound like hard rain on a tin roof with 30+ people using these all day.

I could take it or leave it. I certainly would not just buy one of them just for CAD work.
