    Default Wall Based Electrical Visiblity

I have been trying to get a wall based electrical symbol to show up (placed above cut line) I made a symbol and placed a model line on the ref plane (also tried symbol lines). BUT when I set the elevation of the electrical symbol it moves the model lines that distance above the level that I placed it.

How do I lock the model or symbol lines to the ref plane in the family so they will show up when the model is placed above the cut line?

    Thanks

    Doug

It took a while - Attached is my version of a #D wall Duplex. It has an Instance adjustable Mounting Ht Parameter. Variable Ht & Width adjustment.

New Wall based Family - Simple Duplex - This family has a nested annotation symbol so that it stays the same size and is visible when placed above the cut line. This family has an adjustable Mounting Ht parameter.
However for this to work I needed to draw a small symbol line attached to the model. (if I make it invisible it will not be visible when placed above the cut line). This also has a negitive affect to the label annotaions by making the ? mark visible. Anyone have a solution?
