Hello,
I'm trying to set up a new project on a complicated site with a lot of topography. I have oriented my .dwg siteplan, relocated the survey point to a property line intersection, and moved the project base point to the general location of my building. I published the coordinates back to my dwg, and I'm preparing the file to review with my surveyor. What I want to know is how I set the UCS in autocad as the drafting origin. I opened up the Named UCS menu, and selected my Revit UCS, but It does not seem to change my drafting origin. I am not an experience autocad user, but I thought that once my UCS was defined, that would become the new drafting origin point for the file. what am I missing? Thanks. I did a bit of research, and I found a lot of videos related to dynamic UCS and object oriented origin / axis systems, but nothing about setting 0,0 based on named UCS. sitting here stumped.
