Default Setting dimension and leader note text style

How does one change/set the text style for dimension and leader note? Using AutoCAD Mech 2009

Are you trying to do this manually, or as part of an automation? If the latter, by what means are you doing the customization (AutoLISP, .NET, etc.)?

I am doing it manually. I'm wanting it to be a permanent setting (until I want to change it).

    Thank you Mark

I have figured it out - Tools/Options/AMStandards/ set the standard, double click the standard (ISO in this case) and tick 'Link to dimension style'.
