    Default Back at it

After having been doing blueprints on the side for a few years since 2009 when I left working for a Construction company as the boom had come to an almost complete stand still. I had been approached be several builders/friends to do all their drafting work and blueprints. With the amount of work ahead of me I have gone and purchased Architecture 2014. I know all the minimum and recommended requirements but looking for some opinions and advice on purchasing and or building a PC that will suit my needs. I would prefer the PC to run as smoothly as possible with out any slowdowns or hiccups. Any recommendations for cpu's, video cards, etc etc that any of you have come to find you prefer or like better and for what reasons? Any advice and or opinions would be gladly accepted thank you all.

Hi there, I've moved your thread from the Autodesk Labs forum to this one (Hardware) as I believe it will be better served here.

    Thanks.

Take a look at Xi Computers. Dell /HP/Lemonovo really don't get 'cad' and will waste your money with Xeon processors, ECC RAM, etc.

    Barbaro,

Check out our Autodesk 2015 hardware requirement check sheet, it may help you.
