Default Create PDF files WITHOUT the Layout name

I have set up the files with the following parameters.
    1. Border sheet in Paperspace
    2. ALL text and dimensions are Paperspace

I want to create PDF files which means they will be created in Paperspace. When I create a PDF this way I get the file name + the Layout name (i.e. Layout1 for example).
I don't want the Layout name.
I just want the file name.
Having the Layout name show up as part of the PDF file name means I now have to edit the Layout name out which takes time.
Is there some way to Publish a bunch of drawings to PDF without including the Layout name?

First do you have one layout or multiple layouts in a file? If you have only one layout in file why don't you name it same as the drawing name? Then you could open publish dialog and select files you want. Then select include layouts and do not check "prefix sheet title with file name."

I have been using multiple layouts on site related drawings BUT the boss (Microstation) doesn't want me to do that so I guess we will be going back to single Layouts. That being the case I can enter the file number into the Layout tab.
    Thank you for the help.

    Me again.
I don't see the dialogue that you display in your response. Is this what you see in Publish? Looks different from mine.

Ahhhhhh! That's how it's done. It's no longer magic when you know how it's done.
    Thanks!

This post also helped me realize how to solve a problem I was having. Ever since I upgraded to 2014 ACAD, when I publish a group of drawings, it adds the model and the layout. I don't use AutoCAD regularly and couldn't figure out how to change it to just layout. After you start the publish command and open the file selection dialog, at the bottom of the window there is a drop down titled 'Include:' which you can select Model & Layout, Model, or Layout.

    See attached picture. Capture.JPG
