Default AutoCAD Message / Microvellum error

I get the following error every time I open a new drawing:
    "AutoCAD Message
No scale has been set. Please type SCL at the command prompt to set the scale."

At the same moment the error is up, the command line says:
"AutoCAD menu utilities loaded.netload Assembly file name: C:\Program Files\Microvellum\Toolbox 7\Microvellum.Toolbox.dll"

When I do type SCL at the command line, I can see the following in the command line:
    -SCL
    -Unknown dimension style.
    -Dimension style is annotative.
    -Program ERROR
-Resetting environment bad argument type: consp nil

There is an annotative dimension style, but, why it is "unknown" I do not know.
So, it will not stick or stay at whatever scale selected and I get the same AutoCAD Message again when opening the file.
My coworker says and internet research seems to be pointing at some aspect of the Microvellum install or settings that are not right.

    Please help, thank you.

you need to get with Microvellum support -- that's where the issue is coming from.

Cool Re: AutoCAD Message / Microvellum error

I found a simple solution for now.

I changed the Modify Dimension Style\Fit\ Scale for dimension features
from "Scale dimensions to layout" to
    "Use overall scale of: 1.0000"

Microvellum likes this better and now no error message on opening.

Thank you for the advise cadtag. I have put in a support ticket. So, there may be further settings to modify.
