SHP to C3d Using the Query or Surface procedures I get Zero Elevations

I tried both methods for 8 hours,

only hint I could find (Maybe) is that C3D is reading the exponential numbers in the .dbf files; i.e. 4.130000000+E03 as 4.13 and therefore, I can not get an elevation for the contours.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

You'll need to exlain exactly what you mean by 'both methods', and tell us what results you end up with.

Of, post an emoty C3D file - set up with the geographic zone and units you need, a box showing the area of interest, and the shape file
