No txt2mtext in AutoCAD 2015 LT? Is there another way to combine single line text? (I am new to LT version)

Start Mtext and copy and paste the Dtext items into it - one by one .

The txt2mtext is an old express tool command, AutoCAD LT can not run lisp or apps like full AutoCAD can.

Yep,that's what I've been doing. Too used to the full version. Odd thing to leave out of LT. Very handy. Wishlist, maybe? . thanks for the help.

Been using full version for a very long time, so this change to LT is going to be very painful. Thanks for the feedback

As Jmurphy mentioned, it is a lisp routine, and as you know, LT doesn't run lisp.
So unless they (Autodesk) can program that funtion another way, it will never be in LT unless they start allowing lisp in LT.

    There's a wishlist item!

    Good luck.

I just got hired into an all LT office and told them I could do the work they wanted me to do faster if they got me full. It only took a couple months, but, they finally hopped on board. First time I've used a vanilla version of autocad since r2002, so that's some adjusting, too.

As an alternative, BricsCad and Ares Commander both support AutoLISP and other programming languages, and are less costly than LT. Try downloading a trial, and see if tone of them will work inn your situation.
