Hello,
I keep getting the "Not valid Elements" Warning while trying to Select by ID elements from the linked model.
Is it possible?
I see it as the most obvious step after doing an Interference check.
Cheers,
J

In some cases your local file may not be acknowledging elements that are no longer there, deleted by someone else in their local file. In other cases it may be an ID for a sub-component like a sketch segment in a floor, or ceiling. You can select an element based on the ID of something "inside" the element. For example you'd need to edit a floor's boundary sketch before you'd be able to use Select by ID on one of the sketch segments.
Try Reload Latest before using Select by ID. See if the information offered, when you can see the ID, tells you enough to figure out if it is a sub-entity.
