Default Loading a BIM Object from a vendor site

New to the loading part. I am on a company's site with their BIM objects but cannot get the thing in my project. I must be missing something.

What is the process for doing this, would like to follow knowledgeable directions. Thanks

In most cases I've seen (such as seek) you need to download the rfa file from the site, then load into project.
But it really depends on the mfr's site.

Here is a step by step for downloading and importing families from the internet:

    1. Download the file to a location where you would like to save your families.
    - When you click download, navigate in the download browser to the desired folder.
    - Save the file and wait for it to finish downloading.

    2. Open your Revit Project file.
    - Of course, the file may already be open

    3. In windows, navigate to the folder where you saved your downloaded family

    4. Drag and drop the file from the folder into your Revit Project.

It is important to keep your families organised in folders, so that you may easily load them into multiple projects.

I hope this is easy enough to follow!
