Unhappy Deployments need restart after c++?

our CAD software developer found that when we created deployments, the deployments required a non-disclosed restart after installation of c++ components? I haven't had the issue on my computer, probably because I already had c++ loaded or .net was up to date(?), but if a user with a fresh computer attempted to run the deployment, it would hang after installation of c++. We had to look at the log to see where it was failing, and found running the deployment again after rebooting cleared the error and proceeded to install. My question is, how come I hadn't heard of this from a notification from autodesk, the design suite team, or the AutoCAD and Revit teams? Seems like they could have emailed me as many timeas I've had to provide my address, or even sent a maeesage through 360, or even here. I shouldn't have had to go hunt for it...

Autodesk is just the distributor, not the creator of the C++ redistributables. Any restart requirements lie with the creator.
