Summary: The ability to create wall and trench ducts as a system family, just like cable trays.

Description: The creation of wall and trench ducts for electrical wiring is something so common, but has been missing from Revit up till now. Just like the cable tray system family, Revit needs system families for wall and trench ducts and for busways.
At the moment the creation of these elements requires workarounds using air ducts or electrical equipment families. The proper way to create these families ought to be system families though.

I agree with this, but would like to elaborate further. Electrical can consist of many systems - often job-specific systems. Or, I would like to control visibility across a project per system. It would be nice if I could create my own system definitions for conduit and/or circuits. Then, the conduit/circuit elements would contain a pull-down of the project-defined systems.
