Summary: Add the function of properly grading a Curb Return in the Intersection Wizard

Description: The intersection Wizard currently puts a straight line solution into the kerb return profile. As has been discussed previously the expectation in some parts of the world is to provide quarter points and a vertical curve so that a complete solution is provided. This is essential in steep situations where the straight transition does not allow a reasonable solution. It also gives a neat looking set of contours.

Given the simplicity of the solution can we get it programmed in please.

I have ARD but like all users I would like Autodesk to do the job properly and add the basic features not leave them out.

Hi. As per the previous comment regarding the use of Advanced Road Design, the functionality provided by that package inserts an automatic kerb return and grading based on standard criteria.

So when you do an intersection design and tell it to do a grading it automatically does the correct grading, not a straight line job like C3D does at the moment. And when you amend either of the roads forming an intersection and update it, the grading updates.
So for good user functionality (that is available in other packages but embarrassingly for Autodesk not in Civil 3D) the proper kerb return grading function should be included as standard. The maths behind it is really simple so I am surprised Autodesk have not included it.

If you have for example 40 intersections in your model, having to manually grade them and update them as changes are made is not particularly useful.
