    Default Section cuts and Elevation callouts

    We have an angled wing of a building and we have some building elevations called out and also wall sections, of course. The building elevation callout aligns with the angle of the building, the wall section cut does not. I have looked at both families and can not see any different parameters between the two. I tried checking the rotate with component button, and that did nothing.
    See attached image. If you can help, that would be great!

    I have found to easiest way to make sure sections are perfectly aligned to what I want it to cut, I use a reference plane drawn at the correct angle. Sections can snap to them easily

    I think revitnewbie was talking about the orientation of the section head, not the alignment of the cut.

    That said, it looks like you want the same style of section head for each type. You could use the same section head family for those two section types.
