Revit MEP 2014 - Ductwork Lining and Insulation/Spigots disappering

I have stumbled across 2 issues.

1. When changing a duct size that has lining or insulation, the remainder of the duct run (which is bare ducting) inherits the lining or insulation properties.

2. A spigot connected to a piece of duct is deleted when changing a duct width.

Has anyone else come across this and is there a fix

1. I haven't noticed this?
2. It is a "known issue" with no fix. It has been fixed in 2015. If you look on the Autodesk forums you will find other posts about the same issue. I sent a support request months ago and got a similar response to everyone else.

I reported the same issue back in Feb. the reply was that this is recognised by Autodesk but there hasn't been a fix as yet.
