    Question CW Sliding Opened Door

Hello, I am trying to create a CW Sliding Opened door but am experiencing some challenges when I actually try to "open" it.

When doing the extrusions constrained to the Template's RPs the family flexes fine. Adjusting itself to the CW Panel size.
But if I try to transpose it to the side, so that I can show the door opened, the new width does not seem to flex. But this happens only when loaded in the project. It works fine inside the Family Editor.
    Please see attached file.
I kept a dummy door panel to test the "opened" version of it, while keeping the other panel inside the CW dimensions.

    File attached.
    Help appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.

My only suggestion to you is that you create the opening panel as a separate family and nest it into the door family. It will make your life easier and will allow you greater control and flexibility over the opening. I probably wouldn't replace the existing panel geometry but control it's visibility based on whether the sliding panel is open or not.
    Is this for visualization purposes?

    Yes. Just for visualization purposes.
So, you are saying I would be better off having 2 door panels (opened + closed) with a visibility parameter to choose on whether I would like the door to show open or closed?
I will give it a try with using the nested family too.

    Thank you.
