Default Revit 2015 Over MPLS Network Line

*Let me preface by saying we can do this in Revit 2014.

We are working between 2 offices using an MPLS direct line between the two. The line size is 10mbps. A little slow I know, bu very workable for the files sizes we are using. In Revit 2014 we have been able to host our CENTRAL files in my office on our main server, and open LOCAL files in our Colorado branch office. NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.

Enter Revit 2015. Now we can no longer do any of this. We cannot open LOCALS from our CENTRAL. Nothing has changed in our server set-up. The projects have already been created using 2015 and can't go backwards. Any Revit gurus/experts want to weigh in here? I can't find anything, anywhere about this problem, and before anyone says it, Revit Server is not an option at this point in time. Thanks for looking and even more thanks to anyone who wants to advise.

What is the error message? Is the Create New Local box greyed out?

I did a test from Seattle to a Columbus files server with no observable issues. The model was upgraded from RAC2014.
I used RVT2015-UR3 for the test.

Are you able to open/import a family across the WAN?
