Summary: Grid Scale should be a global variable that influences the entire drawing system and functionality.

Description: At the moment, converting to a UTM grid system is primitive at best. There's a few label systems that can be modified, even "grid" coordinate systems can be pulled from the point library. Unfortunately, this system has a long way to go.

If a grid system is being applied to a file, there should be an option that converts all results from grid to ground while retaining grid spatial data.

One of the largest hindrances I can see in the grid to ground system is the way it calculates the grid coordinates. Most systems either scale the coordinates based on N 0 E 0 or N 500 000 E 0. In geomatic practices, we designate a reference point for scaling. The reference point retains its UTM coordinates and then all features are scaled using the Combined Scale Factor based on that focal point.
