All, I have quite the challenging hurdle in a project of mine. We have the curved/orbital walls that we are supporting with vertical bowstring trusses (see attached). Has anyone ever attempted to model something like this in Revit?

I would go with the generic model family. I would also model the curved exterior wall surface using extrusion in this same family since the wall family does not do well with this shape. you can setup a width factor based on spacing of vertical bowstring trusses. you will need profiles for each member you plan to use.
Not sure if joist supplier would design and fabricate a vertical joist used as load bearing element, I would check with your joist fabricator engineers. My guess in this would need to be designed and detailed as vertical bowstring truss by your engineer.
I might be tempted to try and model this using all of the Out of the box families and then group then as an Assembly. The Assembly can be found on the Modify Tab, under the Create and then should be the upper left icon. This will allow you to make Assembly Views which can then be placed on a sheet with annotations. Worth taking a look into I think.
Please post any updates. Sees like an interesting project.
I do also agree that you should check with your local joist supplier to make sure they can fabricate this with the loads you are calculating. Of course a steel fabricator could make these as a truss and not be a joist. Something that needs to be looked into for sure.
