Default Creating a smart/dynamic air terminal and VAV box

I was just curious if there is a way to pull the space name and number into the properties of an air terminal and VAV box? What I am attempting to do is create a VAV box schedule that automatically fills in the VAV box location (For example corridor 110) and the spaces that the VAV box serves (for example office 100, office 101, office 102). Ideally this would automatically update also when the VAV box is moved to a new location or when an air terminal gets added to the box that was in another room.

    Thanks

PS. I am currently using Revit 2014.

Probably not. Most VAVs are above the ceiling, meaning they're not in the space(s) they serve. Light fixtures and receptacles have a room calculation point, but as far as I know VAV's do not. You could make an air terminal schedule, add a parameter for the associated VAV, and group them that way maybe.

A bit late to the party, but here goes: Yes, you can extract the space number and names. In the VAV family, in the properties palate (Under the "Other" area), there is a checkbox for Room Calculation Point. Adjust the point location so that it is located underneath the ceiling, i.e. within the space. The unit will then extract its location from the space.
