    Default Sheet metal modeling fun

OK dudes and dudettes, I got a doozy. We have been making this part for years, but it has never quite worked 100%. I want to get it right once and for all.
I'm uploading the Frankenstein's monster that is this part, but of course I need a more elegant result, that unfolds. The DWFx model attached does NOT unfold.

I could post DWGs of the sketches if anyone asks.

What I need is a lofted flange made from a 3D sketch, but Inventor can't do that.

Does anybody feel adventurous and want s to give this a shot

    Thanks

That is a pretty basic part - but it is modeled incorrectly.
What version of Inventor did you say you are using?

I would be particularly interested in a close-up picture of these corners on the real part.

well for some reason I can't attach image here of my finished part.

I am currently on 2015, but this was modeled in 2013, I believe. I would love for you to tell me how to get this part right. I think I know my way around Inventor, but there are so many things I have yet to learn.

Very cool ! I'll get one cut and bent and I'll post a picture of the finished product. You'll see where it goes.
I'll have to cheat the bends to make them all go in the corner, but it won't affect the finished product that much.

Thank you so much JD !
