    Default Automatic un-nesting

    Hello,

Is it possible, using the API that a component of a nested family can be made to be a non-nested component? I have a bunch of curtainwall families already made that has all the metal and galss as nested components so it can be counted in the schedules. Now we want to use it in Navisworks for fabrication tracking but the issue is all the nested components are not selectable as one curtainwall unit, they highlight individually. I'd like to be able to select a unit in Revit and push a button that converts the nested components into non-nested so I can ruse the families down the lifecyle of the project. I realize this would be complex when it come to aligning and locking to the reference planes. Possible?
