Create a Window Box on a Ribbon Tab Panel

AutoCAD LT 2014/2015

I'm looking to create at window panel similar to the one that the views are displayed in on the view tab of the ribbon. As shown below:



The one I want to create is to be filled with the Dimension Styles that are in the drawing. I could make a pull down, but Id' rather use a window at most we have 2-4 dimension styles and having a window would be faster and involve less button clicks.

My apologies if has been covered, I searched the forum and didn't find any info on it.

Don't know anything about AutoCAD LT, but what you're talking about is an Image Tile Menu. This link should get you started:

You would have to click to open the Image Tile Menu then select the Dimension Style. AutoCAD has a dropdown to do this already. If not in AutoCAD LT seems like a pull down would be easier.

I had a look

The window above doesn't need a click to open, it's a static entity on the panel.

I'm going to have to have a harder look at this when I have a moment, but I think I may have to go back to the drawing board on this one.
