I am using AutoCAD 2014 with windows 8.1 on my laptop.
My wife ran a refresh on the laptop and it wiped out all of the apps.
I have re-installed AutoCAD 2 times now and still can not get it to open.

Yes re-entered all information. installs fine when i go to open. it open and then stops
Without more information, such as a Jing screen capture video, etc. to go by, I can only offer that the application is in need of a repair, or complete re-installation (again).
Cheers
[Edit] - The only other thing I can think of, is that you call QUIT Command in Acad.lsp or AcadDoc.lsp, etc... But that *should* be unlikely.

Time for a clean uninstall, I think. Flailing about at this point will cause more harm than solutions.
