Question GeographicLocation Images - Legal Issues Printing?

I know there was a thread around here somewhere that I cant seem to find regarding bringing in images such as google earth into CAD and there being legal printing them out if you are not signed up for the Google pro software.

My question centers around the use of the Geographiclocation tools in AutoCAD and bringing in road maps and aerial images through that tool and the A360 account. Are there any legal issues with using those images and printing them on construction drawings?

I typically use these images for keymap or vicinity maps to show a general location of a subject property but still don't want to cause any issues.

Presuming you're talking about 2015, then you are fine IMO. Though if you want to be absolutely sure, contact Subscription support for an official statement - IANAL

Better, more reliable imagery is available from multiple public domain sources. Heck, a lot of the Bing images, especially the lower resolution, started out as PD until MS slapped their copyright on it.

I would generally agree with that. Autodesk made the statement to a group I was part of just prior to the 2015 launch, that the Bing images were free to use, print, etc. - but as cadtag said, best to read the fine print yourself and make your own interpretation.

Thanks guys I will do that. I had heard the same information about the 2015 software but still was skeptical.
