    Default Problem visual styles

    Hello.
I have problem with my visual styles. I face it when I work with drawings within one project only (fortunately) and I believe (but not sure) that it caused by corrupted template file I used for preparing all the drawings (provided by others).
Problem is absence of difference between “2d wireframe” and “3d wireframe” modes, all the objects in “2d wireframe” mode look as they should be looking in “3d wireframe” one, as in model as in paper space.
Can this be resolved w/o replacing all the objects in new files created with other template?
    Thanks beforehand for your answers.
    Pavel

Hi. You can open a good drawing file, click Manage Visual Styles (on the VS toobar, at least) and pick Copy. Go to a bad drawing and Paste into VS Manager.
This will give a second copy of the names style which should work although you will not be able to delete or over-write the old one.
First though, simply picking Reset to Default might be enough.

    Thanks for your input.
Unfortunatelly "2d wireframe" visual style in good file can't be copied as "Copy" ribbon in its right click menu is grey.
And Reset to Default doesn't help.

    Hmm, sorry about that.
I guess the answer is to paste the entire modelspace drawing into a fresh template - the thing you wanted to avoid.

These are the default values for the 2d wireframe shader -

    Contour Lines: 4
    Draw true silhouettes: No
    Color: ByEntity
    Linetype: Off
    Show: No
    Color: ByEntity
    Halo gap %: 0
    Arc/circle smoothing: 100
    Spline segments: 8
    Solid smoothness: 0.5
    Does entering them help?

This was first thing I tried to do. Entering them is imposibble as 2d wireframe and 3d wireframe visual styles have different property sets, please refer to picture below for details. There is no any propery value from 2d wireframe visual style list of properties which I can enter in 3d wireframe visual style list of properties (excepting equal ones).2d wireframe properties vs 2d wireframe ones.png

    Yes, 2d wireframe is unique.
So, you're now saying that your properties listing for 2d wireframe is the same as the listing for 3d wireframe (and similar to all the others)?
I think you have only the one option then.

No, property sets in 2d wireframe and 3d wireframe visual styles are different (refer to picture below) but objects in these two modes look similar(as they should be looking in 3d wireframe mode).
No, I'd like to avoid option you mean as it's too big lot of work.

Can anybody recommend reading something about AutoCAD visual styles? I can't believe this problem is unresolvable.
