creating new roof deck

I am trying to create a 3 1/2" dovetail roof deck, and I tried duplicating the 2" however Revit will not allow me to change the thickness. It won't even let me click in the data entry box. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

If you are referring to the Default Thickness it's a Read-Only parameter. To change the thickness of an element you have to go into the Structure(just above) and change the layers thickness.
