Question How to In-Place roof surface pattern

    Hello there,

Can anybody please advice how to adjust the surface pattern to follow the slope? why i use in-place roof? because its a curved roof profile.

Or perhaps there is alternative method to model this?

It is a quirk of patterns and solids, in particular when they are created with sweeps. If you create a small void and cut some part of the roof the pattern will resolve its orientation correctly.

    I did not get it.

I tried it with the Void but it is not working.

It looks like Revit doesn’t like the shape of your roof. If these two points (see pic.) are not on the same plane (elevation), it works fine. I’m not sure why this is happening though.

    I am missing the point.
Are those two points not to be on the same place, as they are a sketched profile?
