    Default Wall properties

I have to finish this project in 2013. I am using MEP and linking in Arch. The brick walls display fine in the Arch model but once linked into the Mech file the walls are grey. I have transferred the wall patterns into the Mech file but this did not solve the problem. HELP!

The VIEW DISCIPLINE controls how another trade's elements look. For example, when the discipline is set to Mechanical (for instance) the architectural elements become somewhat greyed out so the mechanical elements POP out at you. Changing the discipline to COORDINATION may give you the display you're looking for.

My view discipline is set to coordination. For curiosity I hovered/copied and pasted the grey wall from the Arch file into my mech file and it displayed correctly (brick pattern and color) with no other changes. In VG I had to change the Arch link file to By Host View to get it to display properly. Any suggestion would be appreciated!
