Default Tagging windows above lower windows?

Trying to figure out how to add window tags for windows that are high above lower windows.
The only way I've found to make this work is to tag the high windows in the roof plan as they are in the gable.
But I need the tags to display in the floor plan for obvious reasons.
Tried cutting and pasting from the roof plan to the floor plan but this didn't work.
    Thanks

In the view range, set top offset so it’s above upper window sill.
Plan region will work as well – you can keep the cut plane low to see lower window, but when you set top offset high enough, you’ll be able to tag the upper window.

Another way is to have a view open that you can highlight the window you are wanted and then click over to plan view and tag it. I use this wall all the time.
