Default Right click edit linked DWG file by opening Autocad in that file.

Summary: To be able to edit linked DWG files by selecting it in Revit and then right click to choose edit file. If Autocad exists on the computer then Autocad would automatically open in the file picked.

Description: To be able to edit linked DWG files by selecting it in Revit and then right click to choose edit file. If Autocad exists on the computer Autocad would automatically open in the file picked. Then it would be even better if in Autocad there would be a save and return to Revit button that would save the Autocad file, close that Autocad session and Revit would automatically reload the linked DWG file.

Adding a Context Menu is extremely easy to do in AutoCAD-based products; I don't have Revit installed on this workstation, do you happen to know if Revit .NET API includes the *ContextMenuExtension, and *MenuItem Types?

    Cheers
