Control over scale of hatch patterns

Summary: Control scale of hatch patterns, and inclusion of more architectural patterns.

Description: The significant lack of architectural patterns included with Out of the Box Revit Architecture makes it necessary to import .pat files from Autocad, but guessing at the pattern scale is a ****-shoot each time... you don't know what's it's going to look like until you finish the entire process, and if it's wrong (which is always is for at least a few tries), you have to start the process over.

The ability to access the scale of a hatch pattern either by object, or by style would go a long way to making better looking drawings more rapidly achievable.

Or, you could just include (a lot) more hatch patterns with the base program?

I have made a lot of hatch patterns for use Revit and there is no scale associated with the initial creation of the hatch as it is vector determined. I do know that most default hatch patterns in Revit are at a 1 - 1 meaning that the repeating portion of the hatch pattern is drawn in a 1x1 box.

A typical hatch pattern file looks something like this. values are random in this example. Ignore underscores

HatchKit Add-In for Revit can now rescale pattern within project without reference to source .PAT fies.
