Class Description: Every year, companies lose thousands of dollars by giving away digital design commodities. From fees not specified to underestimating the worth of the digital product itself, opportunities to save money and earn more profit are thrown away every day. This course reviews issues that every corporate manager and digital designer should understand to make the 21st-century design office more profitable. Topics include: recognizing the value of digital design products and services, predicting production time and effort more accurately, understanding collaboration/data exchange issues, and integrating this knowledge in the contract negotiation process.
