    Question non-VPN network license access?

Has anybody set up AutoCAD 2005 to use a network license over the Internet without using a VPN? I found a post on the Autodesk site that mentioned ports 27000 and 2080 but it didn't give any specific instruction about how to set the network server location, and I think it was referring to 2002. Are there environment variables or registry entries that I can use to set the location to an IP address?

Further information regarding network licensing can be found in the Network Licensing Guide accessible from the Documentation tab of the AutoCAD® 2005 CD Browser or from the AutoCAD 2005 Help system.

    Have a good one, Mike
