Sheet Parameter Duplicate Entries

I am noticing a lot of duplicate entries in the sheet parameters and cannot figure out why. I am in Revit 2015. In the properties browser 'sheet type' and 'discipline' are duplicated many times, and I think it is slowing down my model. Any insight?

Have you looked at he Project Parameters to see what has been created? Could also be a function of the titleblock?

Sorry, don't know why this happens. Although I you can help yourself with tool Shared Parameter manager (CGS Revit Tools) which enables you to quickly add/remove specific shared parameter.
